I feel like my life is full of lots of “hellos” and “goodbyes” here lately. Pardon my sentimentality tonight…but tomorrow is Cooper’s first day of preschool! AH!

Last night, the school hosted a little BBQ and “Meet the Teacher” gig. Here are a few pics.

I knew this day would come and all, it’s just weird. I threw a little hissy fit all summer long about how I was going to have to grow up and change my schedule. (Seriously, I did.)

I worked for a year and a half of Cooper’s life, so I don’t feel bad about the last almost 2 years of being a stay-at-home mom who didn’t get dressed till 10:30 or 11 am. đŸ™‚ (I knew it was just a season anyway. I had to live it up while I could.)

So, tomorrow I say “goodbye” to the sweet stage of Mommy-hood where it’s just me and my baby (in our jammies all morning) and I say “hello” to the next sweet stage where he gets a little taste of what school is like (and I get up at 6 am again).

I am excited for school; I just REALLY had to work up to that excitement. I know he’ll do well and I think that it will help the time pass with Jeremy being gone. I so wish Jeremy was here to experience this with me, but at the same time, it’s preschool! He’ll be home for the big day when Kindergarten comes.

Jeremy and I decided to put Cooper in a little private Christian preschool called Pugent Sound Christian School and we are pretty excited about it. We have no idea if this will be a trend we can keep up with in the future due to the cost (i.e. private school), but  we consider it a fun and special treat God has blessed us with for this year.

Stay tuned for more pics after tomorrow…the big day!

What will I do while my sweet child is at school you ask? Um, go to Target like any other self-respecting Mom! đŸ˜€
