On Saturday afternoon, our HFG got all spontaneous on each other and met up at Spooner Farms for some fun at the pumpkin patch!

We had a great time and even splurged going through the corn maze. (Or is that spelled “maize” like a play on words gig?) Anyway, the maze was done in a Narnia theme – more specifically, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It was a blast to go through! Here’s a picture I scanned onto the computer-it’s an aerial shot of the maze. Hope you can see the detail.

After we went through the maze, we picked out our pumpkin and headed out because the farm was closing! (For pics of how they decorated the maze like the book, check out our flickr site! You’ll see Mr. Tumnus’s house, the White Witch’s Castle, the Wardrobe and more!)

Cooper wasn’t interested in having his picture taken at this point, as you can tell by the quizical look on his face. He was way more interested in the rock candy in his hand. Here are a few more fun pics of our day.

Between the four couples, we have a whole gaggle of kiddos! They were so cute piling onto the cow seat. We had such a good time together that we decided to all go out for pizza at Trackside in down town Puyallup. YUM! We even got the banquet room so we’d all get to sit together.

The corn maze was really cool. For those pics, check out our Flickr site. We have lots of them! And if you haven’t gone to a pumpkin patch, I recommend Spooner Farms!
